We found a house online, clicked the “schedule a showing” button, and within an hour he had already texted us to set something up.Since we live a couple hours away, we wanted to make the trip count—so we lined up 7 houses to see on a Sunday, which is the only day my husband and I both have off. Mike didn’t hesitate for a second to spend his Sunday showing us around.From the start, we were upfront that we didn’t need to buy—we were just exploring the possibility of finding a home with a first-floor bedroom for my dad. Even knowing that, Mike was incredibly generous with his time. He was never pushy or salesy—just knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely helpful.And honestly… we did this to him two more times—asking him to spend Sundays taking us to multiple homes—and every single time, he showed up with the same great attitude.We hadn’t even considered asking him to list our current home because of the distance, but he offered—and again, no hesitation to make the drive. Mike Hosey did a spectacular job of acclimating us to the greater Bluffton area. He was able to steer us towards and away from some things that we might not have otherwise known. When we settled on a general area, Mike was able to identify houses which met our needs. Communication throughout the search was 10 out of 10. Once we selected a house, Mike was there every step of the way to guide us through all the process, and gave useful information on utilities, services, contractors, etc. He was very hands-on, even meeting with inspectors on our behalf, since we were still not living in the area. We could not say enough good things about Mike's commitment to making a stressful home purchase as easy as it could be. Even post-closing, Mike has kept in touch to make sure things are working out.
